Can't make my mind up out of which of these bass fuzz pedals I want. Wanted to see if you guys could share your opinion: 1. Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz, 2. Fender Sub-lime bass fuzz pedal, 3. Oxfuzz bass fuzz. Let me know what you think.
I think you could do a lot more with the Musket Fuzz.
I’d get the Strymon Timeline. However, if I were to get an Empress Superdelay I’d make sure to get the PGS modded version because it’s infinitely better than the regular one yet it costs the same amount of money.
Hey, i've been trying to get a Tame Impala sort of sound out of my pedalboard, but i dont know what the order of the effects should be. i have a Big Muff, Fuzz Factory, Line 6 dl4, Boss DD7 and a Small Stone. What order should i try? And also, what other pedals would work? What's your opinion on Red Panda bitcrusher as a pitchshifter?
I would suggest that you get some kind of an overdrive pedal. Get something with asymmetrical clipping like a Boss SD-1 and put it between the Small Stone and the Fuzz Factory. This way you can use the overdrive pedal to get a thicker, more saturated tone out of your fuzz pedals. Much like the tone that Kevin and Dominic utilize. It’s also good for Dan Auerbach tones.
Hey guys, I'm rebuilding my board and I was wondering if I should go for the Eventide Timefactor or the Strymon Timeline. I just saw that Strymon re-released the Timeline and I've heard amazing things about them. I have been planning on the Timefactor to replace my DL-4 for sometime. Thank you guys!
Anyone know about MIDI controllers? I was recently considering getting an MPK49, but I’ve decided to go a bit more ballin and get a Novation Maschine. Now, I need a good MIDI controller. Looking for at least 49 keys, shouldn’t be more than $250 and I’d like a lot of parameter control. If you’ve got experience with MIDI controllers (cause I really don’t have too much), help me out.
I literally just spent 2 hours going back looking at some of the later posts. I don't even have the slightest interest in pedals and such; I'm a drummer. But what you guys are doing here is fucking awesome and I admire you guys for your commitment and dedication. -Bryan
